SILENT HILL Townfall Launch Tools Hub

Specs, editions, and ending structure — the reference pages you need before September 24.

Launch Tools Hub

This hub is the reference shelf for SILENT HILL: Townfall, not the survival classroom. The game is still upcoming: worldwide September 24, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, with Deluxe digital pre-orders unlocking September 22. Use these pages to decide whether your PC clears the floor, which edition to buy, and how endings are earned — without a plot dump and without pretending the campaign is already in shops.

Three tools sit under this hub. PC requirements is the spec sheet: Windows 11, DirectX 12, 75 GB SSD, minimum and recommended tables, and what those targets actually mean (1080p30 Low versus 4K30 High with upscalers). Standard vs Deluxe is the comparison table: prices, physical PS5 disc, CRTV styles, Simon’s alternate outfit, the mini soundtrack, and 48-hour early access. Five endings overview is spoiler-light structure: five total, three on a first run, two in New Game+, aggregate playstyle rather than an A/B prompt.

If you are still shopping, pair editions with the pre-order bonuses guide so you know where to check out, not only what is in the box. Dates and storefronts are on release date and platforms. Official URLs are collected on links.

What does not belong here

Peek, hide, CRTV tuning, and Shorefront room order are guides. Start at getting started, then controls, the CRTV guide, and how to survive. The walkthrough and puzzles cover rooms already shown in footage. Characters — Simon, Zoe, Richard, creatures — live under the characters hub. Trailers and Pilotpriest’s score sit on trailers and soundtrack.

This split exists so a PC spec search does not dump you into a monster primer, and so an endings search does not invent names the studio has not published. Townfall is single-player. None of these tools describe multiplayer loadouts, raid tiers, or gift codes.

How to use the three tools in order

1. Can you run it? Open PC requirements if you are on Steam or Epic. Minimum is Ryzen 5 3600 / Core i7-8700K, 16 GB RAM, RTX 2060 Super / RX 6600, targeting 1080p30 on Low. Recommended is Ryzen 7 5700X / Core i7-9700K, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 / RX 7800 XT, targeting 4K30 High with DLSS, FSR, or TSR Balanced. Storage is 75 GB on an SSD at both tiers; recommended prefers NVMe. PS5 players can skip the table and confirm Quality (30 fps) versus Performance (60 fps) in official PlayStation notes instead.

2. What are you buying? Editions is the $10 question. Standard is $49.99 / £44.99 / €49.99 / ¥7,480 and exists as PS5 disc plus digital. Deluxe is $59.99 / £49.99 / €59.99 / ¥8,580, digital-only, and is the only official path to September 22. Pre-order cosmetics (Rusted CRTV on all platforms, Beach Edition on PS5) attach to both if you pre-order; they do not change stealth or puzzles.

3. How does a run actually end? Endings explains the structure Jon McKellan has already described: endings should feel appropriate to how you played. Aggression, how thoroughly you search, and time spent in areas move a needle. There is no last-second dialogue pick. Two secret endings wait in New Game+. Read that page if you care about replay; skip it if you want Shorefront completely cold.

Launch-week checklist

  • Confirm platform and timezone on release date. Steam may show 23 September; Konami’s worldwide date is the 24th.
  • If you want early access, check out Deluxe digitally before September 22. Physical Standard will not get you in two days early.
  • PC: measure RAM and GPU against the requirements list. Windows 10 is not on the sheet.
  • After checkout, learn the loop on combat and stealth so the first creature is not a plank dump.
  • Keep the updates hub bookmarked for preload or day-one notes.

These tools will still matter after September 24 — specs do not expire when the fog rolls in, and ending structure is a replay document — but they are written now as pre-launch reference. They will not tell you which ending you “should” chase. They will tell you what Screen Burn has already said in public, with prices and hardware attached.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for launch week and first-person survival.

Which tool should I open first?

PC requirements if you are on Steam or Epic. Editions if you still need to choose Standard or Deluxe. Endings only if you care about replay structure.

Do these pages spoil the story?

Specs and editions do not. The endings overview stays spoiler-light: counts and New Game+ rules, not names or plot.

Where do I actually pre-order?

The pre-order bonuses guide lists PlayStation Store, Steam, and Epic. This hub compares what you get; that page covers how to check out.

Is Townfall playable in multiplayer?

No. It is single-player on PS5 and PC. These tools do not describe multiplayer SKUs.

When does Deluxe unlock?

September 22, 2026, 48 hours before the September 24 worldwide launch. Details sit on release date and editions.
