SILENT HILL Townfall Simon Ordell Guide
The man who wakes at the docks with an IV bag and a job to put things right.
SILENT HILL: Townfall puts you in the body of Simon Ordell, a man who should not be standing in Scottish fog with a hospital wristband still clipped to his arm. The game is upcoming — September 24, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store — and everything we can say about him comes from official bios, the 18-minute gameplay trailer, gamescom and summer press sessions, and the English performance by Jovan Adepo. This page is a character file, not a spoiler dump. It is also not a combat guide wearing a name. When the first creature looks at you, jump to combat and stealth or how to survive.
Official copy is short on purpose. Simon is called back to the remote island settlement of St. Amelia to “put things right.” He wakes near the docks with few answers. Besides his clothes he has an IV bag and a medical wristband with his name on it. He heads into town with no leads except the voices that leak through a pocket television, the CRTV. Awakening with few answers, he is drawn into a journey shaped by cryptic messages and fragments of a past he can barely remember. That is the entire spoiler-safe pitch. The rest of this page is how he looks, how he sounds, how brittle he is when something in the fog looks back, and how his story is wired to Zoe and Richard without turning those people into a solved chart before launch.
What the footage actually shows
Simon is played and voiced in English by Jovan Adepo, known for 3 Body Problem, IT: Welcome to Derry, and The Odyssey. In trailer and Steam stills he wears glasses and a beanie. A red gilet or vest is visible in gameplay footage. He is not a tank. Previewers keep using the same words: wet, brittle, under-equipped. Rock Paper Shotgun’s Gamescom piece compared him to a “wet mouse” next to Silent Hill f’s spear-and-dodge heroine. Japanese preview coverage put him at roughly four or five hits before a game over on typical settings. Wooden planks break. Early firearms carry a handful of rounds. If you arrived from an action horror game, unlearn that before Shorefront.
The opening is medical before it is monstrous. An IV line, a wristband, cold water, a harbour. Coverage has guessed at a hospital stay, a transfusion, or something the town did to him; Konami has not confirmed a diagnosis. Treat the gear as a question, not an answer. The hospital connection is hinted from the first minutes and then left hanging while the CRTV starts talking. That is why this wiki files him next to Zoe the nurse instead of next to a weapon table.
St. Amelia is fictional, 1996, and based on St. Monans in Fife. Screen Burn Interactive (formerly No Code) is a Glasgow studio. Writer and director Jon McKellan put Simon in first person because the pocket television has to sit in your hands, not in a third-person holster. Composer Pilotpriest scores the static. The town is Silent Hill as a phenomenon and a state of mind, not a bus ticket to the US original. Simon does not need to have heard of Pyramid Head. He needs to decide whether the voice on the CRT is lying. The characters hub is the rest of that decision.
Adepo, PRESS START, and the other language track
Konami revealed the English cast on August 25, 2026 during gamescom Opening Night Live. The cast hub embeds that trailer. The video on this page is different: KONAMI PRESS START messages from the Townfall cast, including Adepo speaking as the actor behind Simon. It is a cast feature, not a Simon-only reel. Watch it for tone. It will not teach you a button. Controls will.
English is the voice track press has played. At the same PRESS START broadcast, Konami highlighted a Japanese voice cast and said Japanese voices would arrive in a launch-day update. Official Japanese materials name Hiroki Yasumoto (安元洋貴) as Simon, Yuko Kaida (甲斐田裕子) as Zoe, and Akio Otsuka (大塚明夫) as Richard. Dates, trailer, and how the update is expected to land are on the Japanese voice cast page.
How Simon plays, and who is calling him
Townfall is single-player. There is single-player only. Richard’s bio says the two must work together to survive; that is story language, not a drop-in partner. Your hands are Simon’s hands. The loop from previews is peek, hide, tune, and only then swing. Hold peek around fences and cars. Closets, sheds, and half-open doors are chase exits. The CRTV shows silhouettes through fog and burns with screen static when a creature is near. Some threats cannot be fought. Evasion is the intended answer. When a fight is forced, DualSense previews used L2 to block and R2 to strike. Gyro helps when a revolver finally appears. Full button notes live on controls. The CRTV guide is the hardware half of the same night.
Simon’s relationship to the island is the plot. Zoe, a nurse, reaches him through static and says come back to her. Richard is the enigmatic man who summoned him. You will walk Zoe’s house early; the walkthrough and puzzles pages cover those rooms as they appeared in the 18-minute trailer. Do not treat a photo of Simon in her home as a solved romance. Official text has not defined the relationship. It has defined the hunger to understand it. Read Zoe’s profile and Richard’s file before you decide who is allowed to give orders through the television.
The creatures and Otherworld page is what waits in the street once the voices go quiet. The first ruined head with a plank-like or cleaver-like mass is a Pyramid Head echo, not a confirmed Pyramid Head cameo. Do not waste the opening plank proving a theory. Hide, then read.
Length, endings, and what to do before September 24
A first clear is estimated at 10 to 14 hours. Five endings exist. Three are reachable on a first playthrough; two wait in New Game+. Endings accumulate from how aggressively you fight, how completely you search, and how you handle encounters — not from a last-second dialogue pick. The endings overview stays spoiler-light until the game launches. If you still need a storefront, use editions and the release date page. PC specs sit on system requirements. Pre-order windows are on pre-order.
After you can keep Simon alive for a street, come back to the characters hub so the CRTV has names attached. Pair this profile with getting started if you have not yet decided how a first night should feel. New footage lands on trailers. Official channels are on links. The rest of the guides hub is the mechanical map; this page is the person holding the television.
Simon is not here to become powerful. He is here to put things right with an IV still in his arm. Play him that way.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for launch week and first-person survival.
Who voices Simon Ordell in Townfall?
Jovan Adepo in English. Japanese: Hiroki Yasumoto (安元洋貴), arriving in a launch-day update. Full list on the Japanese voice cast page.
Why does Simon have an IV bag and a wristband?
Is Simon from the original Silent Hill, Maine?
No confirmed link. Townfall is a self-contained spin-off in 1996 St. Amelia, Scotland. Silent Hill here is a phenomenon and a state of mind, not a sequel that requires the US town.

Very. Previews describe a handful of hits to a game over, breaking planks, and scarce ammo. Some enemies cannot be fought. Read how to survive and combat and stealth before you swing first.
Is the video on this page only about Simon?
No. It is KONAMI PRESS START messages from the Townfall cast, including Adepo. The dedicated English cast reveal lives on the characters hub.
